Concert at 128 South is a LISTENING ROOM EVENT located at 128 South Events and Catering ~ 128 South Front Street in beautiful, historic Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina, just two blocks south of the main intersection in town, next to Stemmerman's Inn.
Hosted, promoted and organized by local singer/songwriter Susan Savia (Stone Soup Production), Concert at 128 South is committed to the presentation of the highest quality performing arts in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, enabling artists to present their work to an attentive, appreciative and supportive audience. It is a unique experience for artist and audience alike. No earplugs ever needed!
The goal is to introduce new artists to the Wilmington area. We will strive to offer a wide variety and different genres of music, as well as other performing arts whenever possible. Unless otherwise noted, our shows are all family friendly, and we encourage you to bring your well behaved young'ins -- free admission for kids under 10.
Events occur at least every other month, usually on Thursday night, depending upon the schedule of touring artists....so check our schedule carefully.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the shows start promptly at 7:30 p.m. The shows usually last until 10:30 p.m. There is plenty of time to socialize with friends before the show or during the breaks when you can enjoy free snacks, desserts, and beverages are available for purchase, including wine and beer.

We support the DO IT DOWNTOWN!! initiative. Spend the day downtown, go shopping, tour the Port City -- there is SO much to do and see! Eat dinner before the show. We are grateful to have the support of restaurants in our block offering discounts for dinner. Anyone reserving in advance by email or attending the show will receive a 10% discount coupon for Aubriana's Restaurant or Little Dipper Fondue Restaurant.
By the way, plenty of street parking in the vicinity, and the meters don't need to be fed after 6:30 p.m.
